AUTOCAL is a device developed by FPT permitting the automatic calibration of the geometry and RTCP of 5 axes or 3+2 axes heads. lt resets the predetermined tolerances of the heads having undergone collisions, substitution of electrospindle or substitution of a spindle for normai maintenance. In this way the machine operator will be able to reset the geometry of the head by himself, otherwise he would be obliged to ask for the intervention of the manufacturer with unavoidable loss of working days and heavy costs.
